Over 700 Games Now Released Each Week

If you're like me and feel overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of video games being released these days, I've got some bad news for you.

Thomas Bidaux, CEO of ICO Partners, has announced that new video game releases on Steam have crossed the 700 per week threshold for the first time. 720 new releases, to be exact.

"A month earlier than I expected," Bidaux said.

530 of those games have received 9 or fewer reviews.

For those of us who play just a couple dozen new releases each year, this number is astonishing. It's likely you've just seen the tip of the Steam iceberg.
